NewGMParts.com Return Policy:
Returns and shortage claims must be made within 30 days of receipt of delivery. We will accept “authorized returns” within 30 calendar days of the delivery date. Returns will not be accepted on any items that have been used, modified, installed, painted or damaged.
Please note we require that all returned items be pre-approved via telephone prior to returning part.
All authorized returns must be in their complete, original and undamaged packaging. Please refer to our “Parts Packaging Quality Standards Form” for information relative to acceptable and unacceptable packaging requirements. If your shipment has arrived with a damaged or incorrect item, please repackage the item(s) in its original shipping container and we will arrange for its return.
All authorized returns must be in their original condition, include all components, and cannot be disassembled, mounted, painted or damaged due to attempted or incorrect installation. Returns missing components will not be credited. We are not responsible for installation errors, labor expenses, towing expenses, additional repair expenses or rental car expenses caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation.
Certain Parts are not returnable: Obsolete parts, Vintage parts, Discontinued parts, Service or Repair Manuals, custom made products, special order products, CD ROMS, and auto body parts.
Electrical parts and components are not returnable if plugged in, installed or unsealed for any reason.
RETURN PROCEDURE:
In order to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number, please telephone 508-295-9095. Be prepared to include your order number, full name, email address, telephone number, the part number you wish to return and a detailed explanation.
All returned items must be packaged in their original undamaged packaging. Please be sure to check if there are any special packaging instructions to ensure that no damage will occur during shipping. We will not be responsible for damaged returns resulting from improper packaging.
Your Return Authorization number together with the return shipping instructions will be provided to you with your return authorization. Please note No return will be accepted without a pre-approved return authorization number.
CORE RETURNS:
Some of the parts offered on our site have a “Core Charge” applied to them. This is a refundable charge the manufacturer applies to ensure the replaced part is returned to us. Please note customers are responsible for all shipping charges related to core returns. All core returns must include a copy of your original customer invoice for return identification, be clean, drained of all fluids, assembled, complete with no missing parts, undamaged and in the original packaging used for the new replacement part. Upon receiving the core back at our facility, we shall process your core return credit within 30 days. Core charges are most often associated with starters, generators, catalytic converters, ECM/BCM modules, alloy wheels, engines, transmissions, transfer cases and some diesel fuel parts such as injectors. If you should have a question or need assistance with your core return, please send us an email at customerservice@newgmparts.net and we will respond to your request within 72 hours.

REFUNDS:
Refunds for returns or cores normally are processed and the credit is applied within 30 days from the date we receive your return at our warehouse. Once we receive the core or part, we forward it to the manufacturer for inspection and approval. Once the return has been approved and processed, the refund will be credited to the appropriate account or credit card used to purchase the merchandise. refunds with a value over $200.00 may be funded in the form of a company check made out to the purchasing party. You will then receive a “Credit Approval” email the day your account is credited. Please be aware that your bank may take 4-7 business days to post the credit to your account or credit card. Should you not receive a credit after 30 days, please email us and we shall respond to you immediately.

Warranty:
General Motors stands behind their parts for 12 month/12,000 miles [parts only]. Engines and transmissions may have up to a 3yr/100,000 mile warranty [parts and labor]. Warranty exchanges can be made at any dealer with proof of purchase. This warranty does not cover parts that have been altered. Nor does it cover parts that may be defective due to the failure of another part. Should a part be found "defective" , NewGMparts.com will replace the defective item upon receipt of required information needed for processing of factory claim. NewGMparts.com will be responsible for the value of the item only, and will not be held responsible for shipping, handling, downtime, lost revenue, or any expense incured above or beyond the actual original purchase price of the defective item.
Limited warranty on service replacement parts and accessories:
General Motors Corporation warrants that (1) for a period of 12 months after the sale by an authorized dealer of new replacement parts or accessories "over-the-counter," or (2) within 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever first occurs, after installation thereof by a dealer on a motor vehicle, it will repair or furnish a replacement part for any defective or malfunctioning part or accessory.
NOTE: Contact your GM Dealer to verify any exceptions to warranty coverages.
This warranty covers only repairs or replacements made necessary due to defects in material or workmanship. It does not cover conditions resulting from negligence, alteration, accident or use for which the part or accessory was not designed or approved, loss of use of the vehicle or other consequential damages, or labor for removal from the vehicle and reinstallation of a part or accessory sold "over-the-counter."
Repairs or replacements qualifying under this warranty will be performed by any authorized dealer within a reasonable time following delivery of the malfunctioning part or accessory to the dealer's place of business, and GM will pay the authorized dealer for the repair or replacement under the warranty.
Defective or malfunctioning parts or accessories must be delivered to an authorized dealer's place of business during regular business hours for warranty repair or replacement. The dealer must be furnished with the purchaser's copy of the original sales slip on counter sales, or purchaser's copy of the repair order on dealer installations, to validate date of purchase and vehicle milage, as applicable.
This is the only express warranty applicable to service replacement parts and accessories, and neither assumes nor authorizes anyone to assume for it any other obligation or liability in connection with such parts and accessories.
The seller, NewGMparts/Quantum Sales, hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and NewGMparts/Quantum Sales neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale of parts or accessories. The only warranties which apply are those of the manufacturer.
"We hereby certify that these goods were produced in compliance with all applicable requirements of Section 6,7 & 12 of the Fair Labor Standards Act, as amended, and of Regulations and orders of the United States Department of Labor issued under Section 14 thereof."
Catalog:
The online parts catalog is to be used as a reference guide. And does not reflect the availability or stocking status of parts. Although the majority of the data in the catalog is correct, there can be discrepancies in part numbers and prices. (Due to monthly manufacturer updates) In such cases, you will be notified via email or phone before any charges will occur.
Damaged Items:
The carrier is responsible for all items damaged during shipping. If you recieve a Damaged part, please contact us immediatly so that we may notify the shipping company of the damage.
ALL PACKAGING MUST BE RETAINED FOR INSPECTION BY OUR SHIPPERS.
Failure to comply with this will result in any and all damaged claims being denied.
RESTOCKING FEE:
A 20% restocking fee is charged on all returns that are not a direct result of our error. If a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is not supplied with the order, and a return is made, it is also subject to a 20% restocking charge.
RETURN FREIGHT CHARGES:
Return freight charges are not reimbursable unless the return is a direct result of our error.
