Return Procedure

1. Contact Us

Contact one of our Customer Support Specialists at 1-877-498-7278 (U.S. customers) or 508-295-9095 (international customers) or email us at support@newgmparts.com within 30 days of your delivery receipt.

2. Get Your Return Authorization (RA) # & Form

We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) # and email you the necessary RA form. You can also download the RA form.

3. Return Your Items

Fill out the Return Authorization (RA) form and include it along with the item(s) you want to return in the original, unmarked, and undamaged packaging.

*** Please note that the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to manufacturer defect or NewGMParts.com error.

4. Receive Your Refund

We will credit the purchase price, excluding initial and return shipping costs, to the original method of payment used to place the order. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued.

We will do everything we can to answer all questions and address all concerns regarding your orders. How do I know if my cancellation request was successfully completed?

You will receive an order cancellation email from our team once we have successfully cancelled your order. The email will also include information regarding your refund.

What happens if my order has already shipped?

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel your order once it has been labeled for shipping.

Items may, however, be returned within 30 days per the terms of our Return Policy. Please note that customers are responsible for all charges associated with the return of goods back to NewGMParts.com, unless an error has been made by us. Additionally, some parts are charged a 20-25% restocking fee by their manufacturer or supplier. We will discuss this with you when you call to get your RA number

Note: Please allow up to 15 business days for your return to process from receipt of the returned merchandise.

Why was my order canceled without my permission?

NewGMParts.com reserves the right to cancel your order for reasons including lack of parts availability, suspected fraud, and lack of customer communication (i.e. if we have tried to contact the customer multiple times regarding an order and have received no response).

Are there any circumstances where an order cannot be canceled?

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel your order if it has been labeled for shipping or if it includes a specialty item (such as a VIN-specific electronic).

About Our Catalog

The online catalog of parts provides you with a reference guide. It does not confirm stocking status or availability of the parts.

Even though the majority of the catalog is correct, there may be a discrepancy or error in the part numbers or pricing due to updates from manufactures or human error. If such a case should arise, you will be notified by telephone or email before we process your order.

General Motors Part Warranty Information

GM offers 12 months or 12,000 miles on their parts. Their engines and transmissions can have up to 3 years and 100,000 mile warranty for both parts and labor. Any GM dealership can assist with warranty work with proof of purchase. GM does not cover parts that have been altered or are defective due to the failure of another part. If a part is defective, NewGMparts.com will replace it once we receive the information necessary to process a factory claim on your behalf.

NewGMparts.com is only responsible for the value of the item and cannot be held responsible for any shipping, handling, lost revenue, downtime or other expense incurred beyond the defective item's original purchase price.

Limited Warranty on Service Replacement Parts and Accessories

The warranty provided by General Motors Corporation for new replacement parts and accessories from an authorized dealer in an "over the counter" sale is for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first after dealership installation. GM will repair or replace a defective or malfunctioning part or accessory. You must contact your GM dealer to verify any warranty exceptions.

This warranty is in effect for any repairs or replacements that were necessary due to material or workmanship defects.

Accidents, alteration or neglect of the parts are not covered. Additionally, should the part be used in a manner for which it was not designed, that part will not be warrantied. This warranty does not cover damage, loss of vehicle or labor charges related to the removal or replacement of the part that has been improperly installed when sold "over the counter".

GM will pay an authorized GM dealer for the repair or replacement of a malfunctioning powertrain part as long as the qualifying part is taken to an authorized dealer in a reasonable time after delivery of the defective part or accessory to the dealer's place of business. This part must be delivered to the authorized dealer within normal business hours for warranty replacement or repair.

A purchaser's copy of the original counter sales slip or repair order for dealer installations must be furnished to the dealer. This will validate the purchase date and mileage. This is the only express warranty applicable to service replacement parts and accessories. It does not assume, nor authorize anyone to assume for it any other obligation or liability in connection with those parts and accessories.

The seller, NewGMparts.com/Quantum Sales, hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and NewGMparts.com/Quantum Sales neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale of parts or accessories. The only warranties which apply are those of the manufacturer. "We hereby certify that these goods were produced in compliance with all applicable requirements of Section 6, 7 & 12 of the Fair Labor Standards Act, as amended, and of Regulations and orders of the United States Department of Labor issued under Section 14 thereof."
